Website + Mobile App (1.79) - 28 April 2022

We've recently rolled out a series of updates, tweaks and bug fixes to our web portal and the mobile app. 


What's new?

New features

  1. Previously, when giving users access to certain rooms/sites, you could bulk select rooms/sites by alias(es) but this didn't update the access when the alias was edited.
  2. Therefore, 'Super Users' or users in charge of managing aliases needed to remove the unnecessary rooms/sites manually from both the user setting page and the alias page.
  3. Now, the alias is another option to give users site access - this means that if rooms/sites are removed from or added to the aliases, the access of users who are assigned to those aliases will automatically be updated.
  4. Individual site selection is still available as an option too, so you can choose which option is more suitable, depending on the situation.

HERE is how you assign alias(es) to the user


This means that you can now control access of the following by applying/editing aliases:
Dashboards 
Email Reporting 
Checklist Schedules 
Users access (room/site Aliases only) 

You can now view the list of users who gain access to the room/site via the selected alias(es) from the details page.:
Rooms/Sites > View/Edit (under Action) > Aliases

'Alias uploader' is now available!

  1. Previously, when creating aliases, there was no feature available to perform bulk updates/creations.
  2. Now, the aliases can be created/updated either manually or with the new feature 'Upload Aliases'
  3. 'Upload Aliases' allows you to download an Excel spreadsheet with existing details where you can make changes and once done, upload it back to the system with bulk updates on these details

HERE is how to use Alias Uploader, and why it can be useful


Status values can now be updated in bulk via 'uploader'

  1. Previously, all status values needed to be updated one by one when activating/deactivating/archiving them.
  2. Now, their status can be updated in bulk by using an 'uploader' - e.g. if you wish to deactivate/archive multiple rooms, you can use this feature to update them all at once.

Here's the list of modules and how to update their status via the uploader:

  1. Centers/Regions/Services/Schools/Stores
  2. Rooms/Sites/Areas/Departments/Articles
  3. People
  4. Users
  5. Profiles
Use the green "Upload ..." button on the right hand side of each page:





HERE is the step by step, taking room uploader as an example.


"Ticket pop"  now auto generates the checklist name & date in its description

  1. Previously, when completing checklists and some answers triggered the ticket pop, only the question and answer were populated in the ticket contents but not the checklist details (name & date).
  2. Now, ticket pop will include the checklist name & date automatically at the bottom of the ticket description which gives additional clarity on which checklist the ticket content is referring to.

Bug fixes & Improvements in the mobile App

The app is now compatible with iOS "Multitasking mode"

  1. Note. Android's equivalent "Multiwindow" function has been compatible since previous versions.
  1. Previously when accessing tickets directly from the dashboard, pressing the arrow button on the top left corner to 'go back' to the dashboard caused an error. This has been corrected and the 'go back' button is now working.
