Website + Mobile App (1.64) - 1 October 2019
We've have recently released some more updates, tweaks and bug fixes to both the website and mobile app.
These changes are live on the website and with the latest version of the mobile app (1.64) which is now available on all platforms.
What's New:
- Photos in checklists can now have multiple comments, with a new tab to show the comments/comment history.
- Tickets now have a form of in-app push notifications ('snackbar' style message pop ups). Checking for new tickets happens every 5 minutes, but can be manually refreshed by dragging down on the ticket dashboard.
- System now fully supports multiple timezones. This means that users and sites can now be selectively assigned different timezones, and scheduling/reports etc will operate relative to these timezones.
- Email addresses in the app are now displayed inside small blocks called 'chips' (similar to how they appear in most email apps). This makes them much quicker to remove.
- Increased the maximum rows for dynamic data grids from 20 to 100.
- Increased maximum rows & columns for regular data grids from 12 to 20.
- Users can no longer override email sending for tickets. Emails will now always be sent according to rule specified in the ticket category workflow, but users can still choose some additional email recipients if necessary.
- Adding comments to a ticket now prompts the user to choose who should be notified.
- Incident PDFs can now be emailed directly from the app.
- Incident inactivity report; the system can now alert Users via email if Incidents have not been updated in the past 'x' days.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed login page issue on iOS 13 / iPadOS 13.
- Fixed a bug where you could add blank reporting dashboard widgets which would get stuck in a loading loop.
- Fixed a series of bugs related to dynamic data grids where photos were affected when rows were removed/added.
- Fixed a bug where comments on photos in tickets or checklists in tickets were not always saved.
- Fixed the '+' button on the checklist search screen.
- Help icons now appear correctly in dynamic and fixed data grids.
- Fixed a series of issues with iPad Pro devices to do with screen scaling and rotation.
- Fixed the mobile app tickets page 'show more' button which was sometimes loading duplicate tickets.
- Fixed an issue with sending emails on mobile app if there was no default contact listed (i.e. no 'To' recipient specified).
- Email content/recipients are now retained if there is a validation error when submit & sending a checklist on the mobile app).
- 'Next' button is now greyed out on the final page of a checklist.
- Fixed a bug causing very slow page loads when editing a ticket category in certain circumstances.
