If you’re aSuper User for your 1Place account, you can update other users’ details (and reset their password) in the ‘My Users’ work area. (See screenshot below.)
To reset a password for one user, find them using the ‘My Users’ filter tool.
Your local system’s user details can be filtered by First Name, Last Name, Email address, Status or Profile.
You can use this filtering tool to find one user, or multiple users.
The Action buttonswill then allow you to:
Edit the user’s details
Change the user's password
Email the user to change their password
All of these actions can also be achieved by clicking on the user's first name, entering the record and clicking the green buttons as per below.
To change their password, click on “Change Password” button.
It will then take you to the page where you can reset the user’s password.
To reset the other user’s password, your 1Place super user password is required under “Your Password”, then proceed to set up the user’s password according to the password policy.
When you want to reset multiple users' passwords, please follow the steps below. Please note that you can only set a temporary password for them when changing password for multiple users at one time. (i.e. the user will be required to set their own password after they enter the temporary password you set up for them).
1. Settings > My users > “Update Password”:
