Overview
App versions 1.75 and above have a database backup feature which may help recover lost or corrupted drafts in some cases.
If the app has storage permissions enabled, it will generate draft backup files on your device's file system.
By default, backups will happen every 10 mins when the app is open, with the latest two backups being retained. The frequency of backups can be manually changed if necessary, and you can also manually create a backup at any time by going to the Settings page.
If you have iCloud enabled, a copy of the drafts will be stored there as well.
Keep in mind, this feature will only work if you've given the app storage permissions, and removing the app will delete these backups, so you'll need to follow the process below to try to recover drafts.
Locating & using your backups
1. Open for the the 'Files' app on your iPad/iPhone
2. Navigate to the 'On My iPad' or 'On My iPhone' folder. You may have to tap 'back' or 'browse' to get the correct list to show.
3. In that folder there should be some files called "draft-export-XXXXXXXXX.json" and "image-export-XXXXXXXXX.json"
4. Tap and hold each file and select 'Move'
5. Select a destination, for example your 'Downloads' folder
then tap 'Move' to move the file to the folder you've selected
6. Once all the drafts have been moved, delete the 1Place app from your device
7. Find "1Place Compliance Manager" in the App Store and re-install the app
8. Log back into the 1Place app, and open up the settings page from the main menu
9. Try to import your 'draft-export' file and then the matching 'image-export' file using the 'import' and 'import images' buttons, respectively.
If those drafts have not successfully imported, and you have iCloud backup enabled, there should be additional copies stored in a 1Place folder on iCloud, which you can also try to import.
