1Place Mobile App Features

Please note that the labels and terminology in the screenshots below may not match exactly what you see in your 1Place instance, because in this case they're customized for a childcare center as an example.

Dashboard

By default, on your dashboard you will see the list of Scheduled Checklists that are:

·       Checklists To Do

·       Checklists Completed Today

·       Overdue Checklists

To load a Scheduled Checklist, click on the dropdown arrow at the top of the list and tap the 'START' button next to the checklist that you would like to complete.

On the Dashboard you can view your current Tickets, Drafts and Favorites. The Center and Room titles are where you can find all Scheduled and Completed Checklists or existing Tickets for these Centers or Rooms.

Plus Button

You will notice a pink '+' button in the bottom- right corner of your screen. This button is used as a starting point for creating a new ad-hoc Checklist, Ticket or note.

Tapping the '+' will open up a small tray where you can select what you'd like to create. After choosing an option here, you're required to select the Center or Room you wish to create this item for.

Main Menu

The main menu is available on most pages, and is designed to help with navigating quickly to and from different modules in the app.

You can access the main menu by tapping the hamburger icon in the top left-hand corner of the app.

In addition to common modules and features, the main menu is also the only way to access settings, and to log out.

Completing Checklists

Checklists are completed by filling out the questions that are displayed. There are a variety of question types and each is designed to make it easy to capture data efficiently.

It is also possible to add photos or comments to any question. This can be done by using the icons to the left of each question. Photos can be taken from the camera directly, or you can add photos that are already saved on your device (this setting option can be disabled).

Checklists are often broken up into groupings, in which case you may see tabs across the top of the screen. You can also tap the 'next' button at the bottom of each page to move across to the next tab.

Saving

We're using a robust auto-save system which will procedurally save information as it is added to a Checklist in the app.

Because of this, you are unlikely to lose much (if any) information if you close the app or it crashes, because your data gets backed up automatically on your device.

You can observe the autosave process by looking at the top of the screen and seeing the checklist switch between 'Saving' and 'All Changes Saved.'

  Submitting

Once you've completed your Checklist, you should use the 'SUBMIT' button in the top right corner.

A pop-up will appear on your screen where you can choose to add the Checklist to your 'Favorites'. Adding to favorites makes it easier to find a previously submitted Checklist because it will appear in favorites menu. This might come in handy if you have more data to add later on. Once the Checklist has been submitted, you can 'Continue Editing' or proceed to the 'Dashboard.'

You can also send a PDF copy of your Checklist via email (you are able to edit the email and recipients before sending). This can be sent to any email address, or we can set it up to pre-populate with specific addresses.

Searching for completed Checklists

On your Dashboard, as well as the list of Scheduled Checklists, you will see a magnifying glass and Completed Checklists. This is where you can search for your checklists.

There is the option to search either a center or a room checklist. If you would like to search all checklists, you can leave it blank and press the Search button.  The list of completed checklists is shown beneath the search box.

A summary of the details are displayed under each completed checklist.

Tapping the Checklist Details will take you into the Checklist.

The PDF box on the right will take you to a PDF of the report.
